S4 homework project for Thursday 14.01.10

Just a reminder for you guys of what you should be including in your project -

• explanation of how your chosen disaster occurred eg. what plates are involved, how tectonics works, terms such as focus and epicentre
• description of the location of the disaster
• impact the site and landscape had on the effects of the disaster
• a detailed account of what happened during the disaster
• description of the damage caused by the disaster and the future implications of this damage
• what sort of aid was sent, where did it come from, what form did it take
  
• ways in which the affected countries can plan for the next disaster
• a conclusion, explaining to what extent you think that your affected country was well prepared for a disaster and what could be improved
