- explanation of how your chosen disaster occurred eg. what plates are involved, how tectonics works, terms such as focus and epicentre
- description of the location of the disaster
- impact the site and landscape had on the effects of the disaster
- a detailed account of what happened during the disaster
- description of the damage caused by the disaster and the future implications of this damage
- what sort of aid was sent, where did it come from, what form did it take
- ways in which the affected countries can plan for the next disaster
- a conclusion, explaining to what extent you think that your affected country was well prepared for a disaster and what could be improved
